Solusi
Tolak permintaan murid karena di LSI kita hanya mengajarkan Bahasa Indonesia dengan alasan bahwa bahasa yang distandarkan itu memiliki aturan dan acuan yang jelas, tidak berubah-ubah, dan dipahami semua orang. Sedangkan kata-kata slang maupun dialek lokal tidak berstandar, akan terus berubah-ubah, dan tidak akan dipahami oleh semua orang.
Contoh: Pak/Bu, the reason why LSI only teaches standard Bahasa Indonesia is because it has the standard of rules that is not changed and understood by all people. Meanwhile, the slang and local dialect have no standard and that is why people can make up a new word or expression today and then completely forgotten in just weeks or months.
With that being said, I can not teach you the slang or the local dialect because our goal in LSI is to help you to be able to communicate properly in all settings and contexts so that you can build clear and good communication with all Indonesian people.
